TydeCo™’s journey begins in the attic of a college house.
Our story begins with two ambitious college students renting a house and launching Lescault & Walderman (LWI) from the attic with just $1,500, no clients, and an idea to advertise bookkeeping services on Craigslist. Within just 18 months, the firm had already hired five new employees and built a strong local client base in the DC metro area.
Right from the outset, the focus was aimed at practical, technology-enabled accounting that could solve real pain points for growing businesses. The firm’s hands-on service, combined with Matt’s entrepreneurial grit, laid the solid groundwork for what would ultimately become a multinational advisory group with a deeply human-first approach.
