About Matt Lescault

Matt Lescault founded TydeCo™ in 2006 to create a firm that blended accounting, systems, and strategic support for growing businesses. After two years immersed in finance and operations, he launched TydeCo™ with a hands-on approach—personally managing books, entering invoices, and leading client relationships. Over time, he built the team, scaled the business, and broke through pivotal “glass ceilings” tied to capability, culture, and ambition.

Now as CEO, Matt spends much of the year developing TydeCo™’s global presence, especially within the Sage ecosystem. His leadership centers on continuous growth—for the company and the individuals within it. From major M&A moves to cultural transformation, Matt guides the business with a focus on systems that scale, partnerships that matter, and people who thrive. He’s not just building a business—he’s building something that feels meaningfully different in a crowded space.

Expertise

Matt brings a deep understanding of financial operations, systems, and the challenges of scaling a business. His background spans everything from hands-on bookkeeping to leading client strategy, navigating mergers, and building international partnerships. Over the years, he’s also had to become a technologist and HR strategist—learning how to lead across disciplines as the company broke through new stages of growth.

He specializes in helping TydeCo™ evolve while staying grounded in values. Matt focuses on building trust, fostering accountability, and designing a business that feels truly different from others in the ecosystem. He’s most at home solving company-level challenges—where culture, systems, and structure intersect—and where his strengths in listening, curiosity, and self-reflection can shape sustainable growth. He’s also the one in the room who names the hard thing, then helps the team find a way through it.
